His very strength that He has given us has been to bear the burdens of the weaker ones. His ability has been given to us for the benefit of those who lack ability. There will always be the weak and the inefficient. They will ever be learning but never coming to the reality of redemption. Because of this we must go out and serve the unworthy and the selfish, give ourselves as He gave Himself for us. He did not die for the righteous. He died for the unrighteous. He died for the ungodly. He died for men and women who have gone wrong, who have nothing to give Him but a shattered life. — E.W. Kenyon

This page contains the resources that I have found useful in my personal and professional life. Admittedly, it is an eclectic list. It contains everything from quotes and books that I like to podcasts, videos, and slideshows.
If you don’t want to scroll through the entire list, you can click on one of the links below and filter the resources by specific category.
I will update this list as I discover new resources. If you have a resource you think I should add, please email me.
Ministry is too sacred to be motivated by gain. It is too difficult to be motivated by duty. Only love can sustain us. — John Maxwell
I was always going somewhere and never truly enjoying anywhere. I was deceived by thinking that I would have joy when I arrived – that now was a time of sacrifice and hard work. I have come to the conclusion that there is nothing as tragic as being alive and not enjoying life. — Joyce Meyer
In any moment of decision the best thing you can do is the right thing, the next best thing you can do is the wrong thing, and the worst thing you can do is nothing. — Teddy Roosevelt
Learn to enjoy every minute of your life. Be happy now. Don’t wait for something outside yourself to make you happy in the future. Think how really precious is the time you have to spend, whether it’s at work or with family. Live life so completely that when death comes to you like a thief in the night, there will be nothing left for him to steal. — Anonymous
Use me God. Show me how to take who I am, who I want to be, and what I can do, and use it for a purpose greater than myself. — Martin Luther King Jr.
Essentialism: The Disciplined Pursuit of Less (Crown Business, 2014)
This book was the ‘read of the year’ for me for 2014. The book addresses the over-committed lifestyle. If you have trouble saying ‘no’ to people and obligations, this book is for you. If you are trying to ‘do it all’ instead of concentrating and focusing on the vital few things you are equipped to do, then this book is for you. It will help you pare down your life to pursue what is absolutely essential to fulfill your purpose on planet earth.
The Authority of the Believer (Faith Library Publications; 2nd Revised & enlarged edition, 2009)
This book is one of the few books that I reread every single year. The truth of the authority of the believer, once it is embedded in your spirit, will yield rich dividends in your life.
“A few of us have barely gotten to the edge of that authority, but before Jesus comes again, there’s going to be a whole company of believers who will rise up and with the authority that is theirs, …and they will do the work that God intended they should do.
God has never made it a habit to use things that do not belong to Him. He uses those things that are yielded to Him. Things that are consecrated. Things that are sanctified and set apart for His use. Do you want God to use you? Then you must present your body. God makes two requirements for an acceptable sacrifice. It must be HOLY and it must be HIS.” — A.A. Allen
